Teen Thursday: Print, Press, Stamp! at Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art in New Haven will host Teen Thursday: Print, Press, Stamp! on Thursday, June 26, from 6 pm to 8 pm. This free program invites teens ages 13 to 19 to explore art, make new connections, and enjoy a creative evening inspired by the exhibition J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality.

Participants will discover how Turner used printmaking to share his work and experiment with technique. Teens will tour the exhibition and view original prints in the museum’s study room, then head to the docent room to try their hand at linoleum cut printing, stamping, and monoprinting.

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Turner’s birth, the event offers behind-the-scenes access to the museum, refreshments, and a welcoming environment for young creatives to connect and create together.
