Teacher Leadership Program at Yale University Art Gallery

The Teacher Leadership Program is a free, one-hour virtual workshop designed for educators across all levels and disciplines. Held on Zoom, the program takes place at 4 pm on the first Thursday of each month during the academic year. Sessions are led by Jessica Sack, the Jan and Frederick Mayer Curator of Public Education; Clara Poteet, the John Walsh Fellow in Museum Education; Wurtele Gallery Teachers; and staff from the Education Department.

Participants explore creative ways to connect their curricula and teaching interests with works from the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection. The workshops also address both online and in-person teaching strategies, offering practical tools and inspiration for classroom and museum-based learning. Closed captions are provided in English.

The next session is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 4 pm to 5 pm on Zoom. Registration is required. The Yale University Art Gallery is located at 1111 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06510.
