Taste of West Haven

Taste of West Haven will be held at Cielo Banquet on Friday, November 8th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm

Join us for a night of good food, wine & beer, and friends! You’ll sample food from over 20 local restaurants. Wine and Beer tasting is provided by Ye Old Liquor Shoppe.

Who is the organizer of the Taste of West Haven?
Taste of West Haven is organized every year by the West Haven Rotary Club which has been serving the local community since 1931. Each year, club members volunteer their time to create a special night for the community with the intent to raise money to support our service projects.

Does Taste of West Haven benefit the community?
Yes, 100% of the money raised through ticket sales will help fund a number of service projects the club oversees. These projects include: Scholarships for West Haven Students, winter coats for children in need, West Haven student of the month awards, Dictionaries delivered to every 3rd grader in West Haven, Amber Alert services, and a blind veterans luncheon to name a few.

Is this the best culinary event in town?
Um, of course! Where else can you sample cannolis, shorts ribs, carved roast beef, pasta, and homemade desserts in one night? We bet you’ll even find some new restaurants in town to try!

I’ve been to this event before, why should I go this year?
So glad you asked. We have new restaurants lined up as well as several established breweries! New location too! So come and get your hops on.

Will you leave with a full stomach?
Oh yes! Be prepared to go to the gym the following day.

Do you have to be 21 years of age to attend the Taste of West Haven?
Yup. This is an event for adults who are 21 and over. Hire and babysitter and leave the kids at home! Besides, they have more fun when you’re gone.
