SWCA Presents Cellist Samuel DeCaprio and Pianist Anna Han in Concert at Evergreen Crossings Retirement Community

SWCA welcomes cellist Samuel DeCaprio and pianist Anna Han to their concert series for a memorable performance on January 5, 2025. Samuel DeCaprio, a Doctor of Musical Arts graduate from The Juilliard School, has captivated audiences globally with his solo and chamber music performances, including features on prominent radio programs such as WQXR, WFMT, NPR, and WCNI. Anna Han, celebrated as “prodigiously gifted” by The Washington Post, has dazzled audiences with her award-winning performances, including achievements as the second prize winner of the 2023 Naumburg International Piano Competition.

The program will feature Beethoven’s “12 Variations on ‘Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen’ from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Op. 66,” Schumann’s “Fantasiestücke, Op. 73,” Fasil Say’s “Four Cities,” Webern’s “Two Pieces,” and Franck’s “Sonata in A Major.”

This free concert offers an afternoon of exceptional classical music, perfect for music enthusiasts of all ages. Seating begins at 1:30 pm, and the concert starts promptly at 2 pm at Evergreen Crossings Retirement Community, located at 900 Hemlock Avenue, South Windsor, CT.
