Super Hero & Princess Day at Connecticut Trolley Museum

Families can enjoy a day of imaginative fun at the Connecticut Trolley Museum during Super Hero & Princess Day. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite super hero or princess while meeting costumed characters who will be roaming the museum grounds from 11 am to 3 pm for photos and interaction. Visitors can also create their own super hero mask or princess crown as a keepsake.

Guests will take a trolley ride operated by period-dressed motormen, learning about the history of the trolley they are riding and the origins of the museum. Inside the Visitor Center, more trolley cars, exhibits, and a gift shop are available, along with admission to the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum featuring antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities and museum entry are included with admission, and the event will take place rain or shine.

Super Hero & Princess Day will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for the best availability or on-site if space permits. Each ticket includes admission to the Trolley Museum, access to all activities, and a designated trolley departure time. Guests should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled ride time.
