Summer Camp at Connecticut River Museum

Young explorers can spend their summer discovering the natural beauty and rich history of the Connecticut River at the Connecticut River Museum’s Summer Camp. Running from June 29 through August 7, 2026, from 9 am to 3 pm, this six-week program is designed for children ages 6 to 11 and offers an engaging mix of outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and creative activities.

Campers will have the opportunity to observe local wildlife, take boat trips aboard RiverQuest or the historic Onrust, create arts and crafts projects, and participate in educational programs that highlight the ecology, history, and environmental importance of the Connecticut River. Guided by experienced educators, children will build new skills, make lasting friendships, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

This immersive summer experience combines fun and learning in a safe environment, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and stewardship of the River. Space is limited, and only a few spots remain available.

The Connecticut River Museum is located at 67 Main Street, Essex, CT 06426. For more information and registration details, visit https://ctrivermuseum.org/events/summer-camp/.
