Summer @AMP: Teen Art Studio at American Mural Project

Young artists ages 13 and up can explore their creativity and build lasting friendships at Teen Art Studio, part of Summer @AMP at the American Mural Project. This immersive week-long program runs Monday through Friday, July 7–11, 2025, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Guided by teaching artist Shana Bazelmans, teens will develop their artistic skills and unique voices through self-directed projects in a variety of mediums. From sculpture and illustration to mixed media, painting, fashion design, and more, students will choose their own paths and experiment with techniques that inspire them most.

Teens will:

• Learn new skills and refine existing ones.
• Build a portfolio for future creative opportunities.
• Connect with a supportive community of fellow young artists.
• Gain confidence through creative problem-solving and collaboration.

This small-group program is ideal for beginners and experienced artists alike. All materials are provided, and participants will benefit from personalized guidance in a nurturing studio environment.

Registration is $350 per session, and scholarships are available. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
