The Geary Gallery in Darien will present Prismatic Spring, a solo exhibition of new works by artist Sue Barrasi, on view from April 2 through April 30, 2025. Known for her vibrant landscapes and still lifes, Barrasi brings a fresh and expressive perspective to her subjects, drawing inspiration from the natural world and her passion for light and color.
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts and an award-winning painter, Barrasi has studied under renowned artists and continues to explore the prismatic palette—a method that influences her dynamic brushwork and luminous compositions. Her paintings reflect a deep appreciation for nature’s subtleties, captured through bold, deliberate strokes.
