Student Guide Tour: Collection Spotlight at Yale Center for British Art

Experience the Yale Center for British Art through a fresh perspective during the Student Guide Tour: Collection Spotlight on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2 pm to 2:45 pm in New Haven.

Led by YCBA Student Guides, each thematic tour offers a unique exploration of In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art. This installation examines the rich and complex history of British art, highlighting the diverse people and cultures that shaped its evolution from the sixteenth century to today. The exhibition brings attention to themes of identity, class, gender, race, and empire while featuring portraits, landscapes, seascapes, and allegorical works that capture the transformation of society and art over time.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court, and no registration is required. Space is limited and available on a first-come basis.
