Led by a YCBA Student Guide, this thematic tour explores In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, a reimagined installation that examines the diverse cultural and historical influences shaping British art from the sixteenth century to today. Each student-led tour focuses on a unique theme within the museum’s collection, offering insight into the people, places, and ideas that inspired these works.

The exhibition sheds light on the complex history of British art, from portraits that reveal class, gender, and racial dynamics to depictions of landscapes, architecture, and industry that capture a changing world.

No registration is required. Tours meet in the Entrance Court, and space is limited.
