Student Guide Tour: Collection Spotlight at the Yale Center for British Art

Experience In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art through the unique perspectives of Yale Center for British Art Student Guides during a special thematic tour on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 2:45 pm.

Each Student Guide creates a one-of-a-kind tour exploring a specific theme in the museum’s collection, offering visitors an engaging and thought-provoking look at British art from the sixteenth century to the present. The installation highlights the diversity of artists and influences that have shaped Britain’s artistic legacy, featuring portraits that reveal social hierarchies, landscapes that document industrial change, and allegorical works that capture cultural and historical shifts across centuries.

No registration is required, and space is limited. Tours meet in the Entrance Court.

The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free and open to the public.
