Strawberry Festival at Apple Barrel Farm Market

Celebrate the start of summer at the Lyman Orchards Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Taking place at the Apple Barrel Farm Market and surrounding grounds at 32 Reeds Gap Road in Middlefield, Connecticut, this fun-filled event is part of the 21st Annual Connecticut Open House Day, featuring free admission to the property and festival.
Festival highlights include Pick-Your-Own Strawberries from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, strawberry shortcakes from the Apple Barrel Bakery, face painting, henna art, silhouette portraits, and live music from The Aquatudes on the patio from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Food trucks will be on site from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and a free community yoga class will be held at 10:00 am (advance registration required). A pie eating contest and interactive booths from local vendors will round out the day.
