Stonington Village Stroll and Borough A-Glow

The Annual Holiday Stroll kicks off for the kiddos on Friday December 6th at The Stonington Free Library the Stonington Free Library. There will be cookies, cider, and ornament making for the Giving Tree. The library will also be collecting new or gently-used children’s books to put under their Giving Tree to give to children in the community. Story time starts at 4:45 pm with The Polar Express and a special visit from Santa.
At 5:30 pm at Wadawanuck Square, Santa lights the tree and leads the carols. He then dashes down Water Street, giving horse-drawn wagon rides. Stroll the Borough – all the shops and restaurants are open, and the town is decked out for the season. The merchants compete for the most festive window display in “Boro A-Glow”.
The evening concludes with the U.S. Coast Guard Woodwind Quintet performing a FREE concert at 7 p.m. La Grua Center.
