Stone Soup & Other Heartwarming Tales at The Bushnell

Young audiences can experience the power of community and kindness in Stone Soup & Other Heartwarming Tales, a lively and imaginative performance based on the beloved folktale. When a mysterious traveler arrives in a small village, a simple pot of water and a stone spark a magical journey of sharing and connection. As each villager contributes to the pot, they discover that generosity and teamwork can turn even the simplest ingredients into something extraordinary.

Perfect for grades Pre-K through 3, this engaging production combines humor, creativity, and heart to inspire conversations about empathy, friendship, and the joy of giving.

Part of the 2025–2026 Bushnell Children’s Theatre Series, performances will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at The Bushnell, 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut. Each show runs approximately 55 minutes with no intermission.
