Steep Canyon Rangers at Westport Country Playhouse

Steep Canyon Rangers will bring their signature blend of traditional bluegrass and Americana songwriting to Westport Country Playhouse on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

Hailing from North Carolina’s Appalachian and Piedmont regions, the band is known for honoring mountain music while infusing it with fresh, accessible influences. The Rangers have earned three Grammy nominations, a win for Best Bluegrass Album in 2013, and induction into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. They have collaborated with actor and banjoist Steve Martin and have performed on some of music’s most iconic stages.

With the addition of award-winning singer-songwriter Aaron Burdett, the group continues to expand its rich songbook with powerful emotional depth.
