The Connecticut Theatre Company presents Steel Magnolias from March 14–23, 2025, at The Repertory Theatre in New Britain. Set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, this beloved play follows a tight-knit group of Southern women who share laughter, gossip, and heartbreak while navigating life’s challenges.
Filled with humor, warmth, and touching moments, Steel Magnolias showcases the strength and resilience of friendship in good times and bad. As Shelby, the town’s sweetheart, makes a life-changing decision, the women around her rally with love, wit, and unwavering support.
