Sketching in the Galleries at Yale University Art Gallery

Street Hall, part of the Yale University Art Gallery, was inaugurated in 1867 as the first collegiate school of art in the United States, where students sketched from live models and original works of art. This program invites participants to take part in a centuries-old practice with a guided sketching session. Materials are provided, and the session is open to all ages and skill levels, offering a creative opportunity to engage directly with the Gallery’s collections.
