Sketching in the Galleries at Yale University Art Gallery

The Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven will host Sketching in the Galleries on Wednesday, June 25, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. This interactive program invites participants to experience a long-standing artistic tradition rooted in the history of Street Hall, which opened in 1867 as the home of the country’s first collegiate art school.

Held in conjunction with the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, this guided sketching session encourages guests of all ages and experience levels to explore drawing from original works of art within the gallery. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
