Silhouette Portraits for Mother’s Day at Lyman Orchards

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a timeless keepsake at Lyman Orchards on Saturday, May 10 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Apple Barrel Farm Market will host The Silhouette Lady, Deborah O’Connor, who will create custom heirloom-quality hand-cut silhouette portraits on-site.

Each silhouette takes about five minutes to complete and is cut entirely by hand. Portraits start at $30 per person, with additional copies available at half price—perfect for sharing with loved ones. Finished silhouettes are mounted on cardstock and sized to fit a standard 5×7 frame. Framing and matting options will be available for an additional cost.

Deborah O’Connor has been mastering the art of silhouette cutting for nearly 50 years, offering a unique experience that results in a cherished gift. Guests can enjoy lunch from the Apple Barrel Deli and indulge in sweet treats from the bakery, including pies, donuts, and pastries.
