Sidewalk Studio at Yale University Art Gallery

Experience spontaneous creativity at Sidewalk Studio, an outdoor drop-in art-making program hosted by the Yale University Art Gallery. Taking place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 2:00 pm, this session invites participants of all ages to engage with a specific artistic medium inspired by works from the Gallery’s collection.

Led by Gallery staff and Yale student educators, Sidewalk Studio is held in front of the Yale University Art Gallery and encourages passersby to explore artistic expression in a casual, welcoming environment. Each session offers a new creative focus and provides materials for hands-on participation.

This free program is open to all and generously supported by the Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund.
