Shubert Summer Theater & Arts Camp at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School

Creativity takes center stage this summer with the Shubert Summer Theater & Arts Camp, a program designed to help young artists explore their talents while building confidence, friendships, and artistic skills in a supportive environment. Open to students entering grades 3 through 8 in Fall 2026, the camp offers an engaging mix of theater and arts experiences led by experienced educators and artists.

Held at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School in New Haven, the camp welcomes both New Haven and non-New Haven residents. Participants will work with professional teachers, teaching artists, and emerging student-teacher-artists from Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of creative disciplines while collaborating with fellow campers.

Two sessions are available during the summer. Session 1 runs from July 6 through July 17, and Session 2 runs from July 20 through July 31. Camp activities begin at 9 am each day.
