Black Rock Theater presents Shrek the Musical at Fairfield Theatre Company from March 6 to March 9, 2025. This lively production brings the beloved characters from the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film to life on stage. The story follows Shrek, an unlikely hero, as he embarks on a life-changing adventure with a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess. With a villainous Lord Farquaad, a sassy Gingerbread Man, and a cast of fairy tale misfits, this musical is filled with humor, heart, and high-energy performances.
Starring Leo Roberts (Mrs. Doubtfire U.S. National Tour, Les Misérables West End, Shrek UK/Ireland Tour), this production features professional actors alongside students from Black Rock Theater Academy, making it a family-friendly event with top-tier talent.
