Short Attention Span Literary Club (Online)

Readers are invited to join the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History’s Short Attention Span Literary Club on August 5, 2026, from 1 pm to 2 pm for a relaxed online discussion of a contemporary short story.
Designed for readers who enjoy meaningful conversations without the commitment of a traditional book club, the program meets once a month to explore a different short story. Participants are welcome to attend whenever they wish, with no ongoing membership or attendance requirement.
This month’s featured selection is A Knife at the Throat by Doug Crandell. Guests are encouraged to read the story in advance and join fellow readers for an engaging discussion led through Zoom.
Participation is free, although voluntary donations are welcome to support the Museum’s public programming. Advance registration is required, and registered participants will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link.
The program is presented online via Zoom. For more information or to register, visit https://www.connecticutmuseum.org/event/saslc-115/.
