Shanties & Sails: My Druthers at Connecticut River Museum

Shanties & Sails returns to the Connecticut River Museum in Essex on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with a free live performance by My Druthers. This one-hour concert begins at 5:30 pm and features rebel songs of Ireland and the sea, brought to life by a rotating lineup of Connecticut music scene favorites. Known for their spirited performances, My Druthers blends outlaw country, maritime music, and rebel folk traditions for a rowdy, foot-stomping evening by the river.

Attendees can enhance the experience with a ticketed cruise on the Onrust, a re-creation of the 1614 vessel built by Adriaen Block. This unique ship offers insight into the age of exploration and is available for public cruises and private charters.
