Shanties & Sails: Marc Bernier at Connecticut River Museum

An evening of maritime music returns to the Connecticut River Museum with Shanties & Sails featuring Marc Bernier on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. As part of the Museum’s popular five-week live music series, this special event celebrates the tradition of sea shanties in a scenic waterfront setting.

Guests can enjoy a free one-hour performance from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on the Museum’s lawn or North Deck. The evening continues from 7 pm to 8 pm with an intimate acoustic performance aboard the Onrust, where attendees can sail alongside the featured performer while enjoying music on the water. Tickets for the Onrust sailing experience are $25 per person.
