September Evening Lecture Series at Bridgeport Zoo

The Bridgeport Zoo will host the September Evening Lecture Series on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 7 pm in the Zoo’s Hanson Building. This program will feature Southern Connecticut State University graduate student Keelyn Kotecki, who has traveled to Belize to conduct research on vampire bats.
During the lecture, Kotecki will share her findings and discuss the vital role bats play in maintaining balance in ecosystems. The presentation will offer attendees a deeper understanding of these often-misunderstood creatures and their importance to biodiversity.
