Sensory Friendly Day at Connecticut Science Center

The Connecticut Science Center will host Sensory Friendly Day on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences, Sensory Friendly Days offer a calm, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the exhibits. The center will lower volume levels, dim lights, and reduce extra sound or motion throughout the facility. Additional signage will highlight potential sensory triggers, and a 1:1 aide is always included with any paid general admission.

These thoughtful accommodations make it possible for visitors to engage with hands-on exhibits and create lasting memories in a welcoming space.

The Connecticut Science Center is located at 250 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, Connecticut. Parking is available at the Science Center Garage (entrance on Grove Street).
