Semina DeLaurentis Halo Awards 2026 at Palace Theater

Connecticut high school theater programs will be celebrated during the Semina DeLaurentis Halo Awards 2026, taking place May 26 through May 29, 2026 from 7 pm to 10 pm nightly at the Palace Theater, 100 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

Presented by Seven Angels Theatre, the Halo Awards recognize excellence in high school theater productions across Connecticut, honoring performers, singers, technical crews, directors, and production teams from more than 100 participating schools statewide.

Created in 1993 by Seven Angels Theatre Artistic Director Semina DeLaurentis, the Halo Awards began as a regional program involving eight schools and has grown into one of Connecticut’s premier celebrations of student theater arts. What started as a single-night ceremony at Seven Angels Theatre has expanded into a four-night event hosted at the Palace Theater due to the program’s continued growth and statewide participation.

The annual awards showcase the talent, creativity, and dedication of Connecticut’s young performers and theater professionals while highlighting the importance of arts education throughout the state.
