Script In Hand: November at Westport Country Playhouse

The Westport Country Playhouse will continue its 2025 Script in Hand series with a new playreading on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 7:00 pm. The title of this month’s reading will be announced soon. Each Script in Hand presentation offers a unique and spontaneous theatrical experience, featuring professional actors performing with minimal staging, simple lighting, and no sets or costumes—inviting the audience to imagine the world of the play.

In these one-night-only events, actors and directors come together for a single day of rehearsal before performing live, creating a sense of immediacy and connection between the cast and the audience. Every Script in Hand performance is a fresh encounter with the power of storytelling and live theatre.

The playreading will run approximately one hour and fifty minutes, including a fifteen-minute intermission. The event will be held at the Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court, Westport, Connecticut.
