Science Solvers: Rainbow Minerals at the Bruce Museum

Families can dig into the colorful world of geology during Science Solvers: Rainbow Minerals at the Bruce Museum, taking place Saturday and Sunday, April 12–13, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Cohen Education Wing.

This hands-on, drop-in program is designed for children ages 4 and up with their families. Participants will explore how minerals are formed and learn what makes them shine in every color of the rainbow. Each child will get to create their own geode to take home as a keepsake.

The program is included with museum admission and does not require advance registration. Admission is free for members. General admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and free for children under 5.
