Schools OUT! Winter Wonders at Mattatuck Museum

Celebrate the creativity and beauty of winter during Schools OUT! Winter Wonders at the Mattatuck Museum on Wednesday, December 2, from 8 am to 5 pm. Part of Camp MATT, this program invites campers to explore the science, textures, colors, and magic of the winter season through art and hands-on activities.

Inspired by snowy landscapes and frozen environments, participants will discover how artists capture the sparkle and changing moods of winter. Campers will experiment with different materials and creative techniques to make artwork inspired by snow, ice, winter weather, and seasonal wonders.

Admission is $50 for general participants, $35 for museum members, and $25 for Kids Adventure Pass holders. Late pick-up is available from 3:30 to 5 pm.

Registration is available at https://www.mattmuseum.org/education/schools-out/. Support is provided by MacDermid Alpha, Ion Bank, and American Savings Foundation.
