School’s Out: Spring Break at The Mattatuck Museum

When school’s out, The MATT is in session! From April 14–18, 2025, the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury is offering a full week of creative, educational fun during spring break. This day-long program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with free early drop-off (8–9:30 a.m.) and late pickup (3:30–5 p.m.) included.
Designed for kids seeking adventure during their break, this hands-on experience explores the museum’s galleries and special exhibitions while encouraging artistic expression with a variety of materials and techniques. Each day features new themes and activities to keep young minds engaged and inspired. Children should bring a bagged lunch; all other supplies are provided. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Non-Members – $210
Members – $205
Adventure Passholders – $105
Waterbury Students – $20
