Step aboard a piece of transportation history with Scenic Trolley Rides & Museum Tours at The Shore Line Trolley Museum. Offered Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, this family-friendly experience includes unlimited rides on historic trolley cars and access to the museum’s campus and collection.
Visitors can ride aboard authentic antique trolleys from cities including New Haven, New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Johnstown, Pennsylvania, while learning about the history of electric rail transportation. Admission also includes access to the museum’s historic car barns, where guests can explore a variety of preserved trolley cars and exhibits. Trolleys in service vary by day and weather conditions.
The Shore Line Trolley Museum is located at 17 River Street, East Haven, CT 06512. Tickets are available at the Visitor Center or online and are valid for the entire day.
