Hailing from a small family farm in central New York, Fredericks gained national acclaim after winning Season 8 of NBC’s The Voice. His music blends folk, blues, and roots rock, a style he describes as “free range folk.”

Fredericks’s major-label debut, A Good Storm, showcased his early talent, while 2018’s Hide Your Ghost, which he self-produced, marked a return to his authentic, understated style. His 2020 release, Flowers For You, earned recognition from No Depression and featured award-winning tracks like “Born” and “Amen,” praised for their emotional depth and social resonance.
