SatchVai Band featuring Joe Satriani & Steve Vai at Palace Theater

Legendary guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai bring their powerhouse collaboration to the Palace Theater for a one-night-only performance on May 22, 2026 from 7:30 pm to 11 pm.

The SATCHVAI Band marks the first official band project between Satriani and Vai during their nearly 50-year friendship and musical partnership. After a successful European debut tour, the celebrated guitar icons are bringing the electrifying live show to audiences across the United States for the first time.

The performance showcases material from the group’s evolving catalog, including “The Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1” and “Dancing,” blending cinematic instrumentals, rock energy, and the signature virtuosity that made both artists internationally acclaimed figures in rock and instrumental music.

Joining Satriani and Vai on stage are drummer Kenny Aronoff, bassist Marco Mendoza, and guitarist Pete Thorn, forming a live lineup built around explosive musicianship and dynamic guitar performances.

Opening the evening is Animals As Leaders, the acclaimed instrumental progressive metal trio led by guitarist Tosin Abasi. Known for technical precision and genre-blending compositions, the band combines metal, jazz fusion, classical, and electronic influences into a groundbreaking live experience.
