Holiday Trains at the Railroad Museum of New England Thomaston

Holiday train excursions are back for another season at the Railroad Museum of New England in Thomaston, Connecticut. Family favorites include as the Santa Express & Northern Lights Limited, as well as the adults only Litchfield Hills BBQ & Whiskey Special – Holiday Edition! Our Toys for Tots Train returns for our 3rd year to kick off the season of giving at the Naugy this Saturday, November 19th, 2022!
New for 2022 is the much anticipated 20th Century Limited premium holiday experience, featuring two 1940’s streamlined luxury passenger cars, available on all Santa Express and Northern Lights Limited excursions! These cars also feature two special 20th Century themed-events: 20th Century Limited Anniversary and the North by Northwest Express movie night experience!

Saturday November 19th, The Railroad Museum of New England (RMNE) and Naugatuck Railroad are proud to partner with the United States Marine Corps once again in in running our annual Toys for Tots Train to bring the joy of Christmas to less fortunate youth across America!
Toys will be collected at the following locations:
12:00-12:30pm: Waterbury: 44 Chase River Rd, Waterbury, CT 06704
1:00-1:30pm: Thomaston Station: 242 East Main Street, Thomaston, CT 06787
2:00-2:45pm: East Litchfield: Roughly 70 East Litchfield Road South, just east of Johnson Rd. Exit 42 on Rt 8.
3:00-4:00pm: Torrington: 170 Water Street, Torrington, CT 06790
