Sailor Life & Pirates Summer Camp at the Connecticut River Museum

The Connecticut River Museum invites young adventurers to step into the world of high-seas exploration during its most popular summer camp week, Sailor Life & Pirates. From July 7 through August 8, 2025, children ages 6 to 11 can experience a hands-on journey through the fascinating lives of sailors and pirates, learning about their ships, flags, clothing, and navigational tools.
Campers will have the opportunity to dress in pirate garb, engage in themed activities, and set sail aboard the Onrust, a replica 17th-century Dutch ship. The week promises an exciting blend of history, creativity, and river exploration, making it a favorite for returning families.
Due to high demand, the camp will be offered twice this summer. Families are welcome to register for one or both sessions. Daily camp hours run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Tuition is $385 for non-members and $347 for museum members. Space is limited, and early registration is recommended.
