2020 Sailfest at New London Harbor Schedule
July 10 - July 12
The 2020 Sailfest will be held on July 10th through July 12th, 2020 in New London. Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut’s premiere summertime event, complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, ships, and over 200 vendors lining the streets. There will be plenty to see, buy, and eat, so make sure to come hungry and ready to try new food!
Sailfest 2020 Dates/Times:
Friday: 3:00PM to 11:00PM (Waterfront only)
Saturday: 10:00AM to 11:00PM
Sunday: 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Sailfest produces multiple stages of free entertainment with musical genres ranging in Dance, Country, Latin, and more. Many new and upcoming artists are ready to take the stage, as well as some known and loved ones.
Locally hand-made crafts, art, clothing and jewelry are just a few of the things among the vast array of wares for sale from over 200 vendors lining the streets. Each vendor has something different to offer!
Sailfest has plenty of delicious food for everyone’s needs. With ice cream, jerky, frozen lemonade, tamales, beef-fat fries and crepes, Sailfest is the melting pot of event food.
On Friday, there will be a Pirate Invasion at The Custom House Pier at 6:30 for kids. The first 50 kids will get foam swords to help defend the Waterfront from the Pirates
Saturday, July 11: The Sailfest Fireworks Extravaganza will be produced by Garden State Fireworks and start at approximately at 9pm and will be choreographed to music on K-Hits 100.9 FM.
Picnic on the Pier: Relax & Dine in style on the New London Waterfront. Watch private Fireworks Party with dinner. No crowds….private bathrooms….front row seat for the Fireworks
Sailfest 5K Sailfest
The 2020 Sailfest 5K will be held at Sailfest in New London on Sunday July 12, 2020 from 9 am to 10:30 am.
Kelley’s Pace is honored to sponsor the New London Sailfest 5K. We have a new flat fast course. The race starts and finishes in front of Union Station in downtown New London.
Race shirts available for the first 250 registrations, and finisher medals for all who complete the 5K course.
