
Rosies of World War II at Weston History & Culture Center

Celebrate Women’s History Month and discover the real stories behind “Rosie the Riveter” at Rosies of World War II on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2 pm at the Weston History & Culture Center in Weston, CT.
Guest speaker Susan Ashman, a Park Ranger from the Springfield Armory National Historic Site, will present Soldiers of Production: Women Ordnance Workers at Springfield Armory, exploring the essential role women played in the war effort. Samantha Fargione, Executive Director of the Weston History & Culture Center, will also highlight the contributions of Weston’s own Rosies.
This free event is co-sponsored by The Friends of the Weston Public Library, the League of Women Voters of Weston, and the Weston History & Culture Center. Advanced registration is encouraged at Weston History & Culture Center Ticketing, but walk-ins are welcome.
