Rocky Neck Runfest at Rocky Neck State Park

Runners of all levels are invited to take part in the Rocky Neck Runfest on Sunday, April 13, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Rocky Neck State Park in Niantic. This exciting event offers a scenic and challenging course with three race options: a 30k individual race, a 3-person relay, and both 5k road and 5k trail races.

Participants will experience the natural beauty of Rocky Neck, running past landmarks like the Bride Brook salt marsh, the historic Ellie Mitchell Pavilion, and the Four Mile River tidal area. The event hub is centrally located near the finish line, offering an ideal spot for cheering, relay transitions, and celebrating with fellow runners.

Following the races, enjoy a festive post-run celebration featuring live music, delicious hot bRUNch from Flanders Fish Market, and a vibrant, supportive running community.

Registration fees vary:

• 30k Individual: $110 ($105 for ages 16–21)
• 3-Person Relay Team: $225
• 5k Road or Trail: $37 ($32 for ages 18–21)
• 5k Youth (Trail ages 12–17 or Road ages 5–17): $20 ($15 for ages 5–12)
