Robert Frost: In His Own Words at South Windsor Library

Poetry and performance come together in Robert Frost: In His Own Words, a compelling theatrical program led by longtime community theater performer Peter. This one-man show delves into the life and work of celebrated American poet Robert Frost, with a focus on the themes of love, loss, doubt, and hope that define his poetry.

Peter’s fascination with Frost began in high school and grew into a deep study that led him to visit the poet’s homesteads in New Hampshire and Vermont. Drawing on two years of research, Peter brings Frost’s voice and spirit to life, weaving together biographical storytelling and dramatic readings of Frost’s most enduring works, including “The Road Not Taken” and “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening.”

The program takes place Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Windsor Library, 1550 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, CT 06074. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the library at (860) 644-1541 or email refswpl@libraryconnection.info.
