River Tales: Who’s Hiding on the River? at Connecticut River Museum

Children can explore the hidden world beneath the river’s surface at this interactive storytime event at the Connecticut River Museum on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Through engaging activities, kids will learn fascinating facts about river habitats and the creatures that call them home.

This month’s featured book, Who’s Hiding on the River by Katharine McEwen, introduces young learners to the wonders of nature with beautiful collaged pages and over 20 interactive flaps. Hands-on crafts will take place in the Museum’s Boathouse, offering a fun and educational experience for children.

Two sessions are available: 11 am–12 pm and 1 pm–2 pm.

Cost is $3 per learner for non-members and free for museum members (museum admission not included).
