River Tales at Connecticut River Museum

Families with young children are invited to enjoy River Tales at the Connecticut River Museum on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Sessions are offered from 11 am to 12 pm and 1 to 2 pm.

Designed for children ages 4 and older and their caregivers, this engaging program features a storytime followed by a take-home craft inspired by the Connecticut River’s wildlife and history. Participants can enjoy a fun, hands-on learning experience that encourages curiosity about the region’s natural and cultural heritage.

Admission is $3 per learner for non-members and free for museum members. Museum admission is not included with the program ticket.
