Residual Groove at Levitt Pavilion

Connecticut indie-jam band Residual Groove takes the stage at Levitt Pavilion on July 31, 2026, for a free outdoor concert showcasing the group’s inventive blend of psychedelic funk rock, improvisation, and thoughtful songwriting.

Formed in Southern Connecticut, the five-piece band has quickly built a reputation on the regional jam scene through energetic performances and a collaborative musical approach that balances carefully crafted songs with spontaneous exploration. Their sound merges melodic indie rock influences with deep grooves, expansive jams, and seamless transitions that keep audiences engaged from start to finish.

The band is led by brothers Previn Edwards on guitar and vocals and Kiran Edwards on keyboards and vocals, whose creative partnership serves as the foundation of the group’s musical identity. They are joined by Ryan Berry on bass, Adam Finkelstein on drums, and Garrett Halstead on percussion, creating a rhythm section capable of both tight, intricate arrangements and adventurous improvisational moments.

Admission is free, but tickets are recommended. Free tickets may be reserved online in advance and may also be available through the Levitt Pavilion box office beginning two hours before showtime, subject to availability.
