Research in Action: “The Choice of Paris, an Idyll” at Yale Center for British Art

This Research in Action talk highlights the artistic legacy of Victorian satirist Florence Claxton through the expertise of Susie Beckham, Postdoctoral Associate in the Research Department at the Yale Center for British Art. Beckham will explore Claxton’s often overlooked role in nineteenth-century visual culture, offering insights into how female artists contributed to and challenged the art world of their time.
