Raspberry Festival at Lyman Orchards

Lyman Orchards will celebrate the summer raspberry season with a family-friendly Raspberry Festival on Saturday, July 5, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Apple Barrel Farm Market in Middlefield. Visitors can enjoy a full day of seasonal fun, including fruit picking, live music, food trucks, and a variety of kid-friendly attractions.

Activities include face painting, petting farm animals, a roaming railroad, and horse-drawn wagon rides. Slewfoot will perform live music from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and guests can also enjoy a performance from the School of Rock at 10:30 am. Throughout the day, visitors can pick blueberries and raspberries on South Street, and grab a bite at the Apple Barrel Deli or a special raspberry-themed sundae from the Ice Cream Window.

Food options will include local food trucks like Crazy Taco Mex. Other highlights include vendor booths such as Renewal by Andersen and the Energize CT interactive experience. Many of the day’s activities are free, and admission to the festival is also free.
