Railroad Spike Knife Class at Hyner Forge

Those looking for a unique and hands-on experience can forge their own railroad spike knife with Forged in Fire champion Brandon Hyner at Hyner Forge in Norwich, Connecticut. This immersive blacksmithing class is designed for ages 16 and up and is offered on select weekends with morning and afternoon sessions available.

Each class teaches the art of blacksmithing and includes a finished knife, a custom leather sheath, and a complimentary 1–2 minute video of your experience to remember the day. No prior experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided.

Upcoming class dates include:

• March 23 (afternoon session with limited availability)
• April 5–6 (morning and afternoon sessions available)
• April 26 (morning and afternoon sessions available)
• May 17–18 (morning and afternoon sessions available)

Classes are held from 8 am to 1 pm or 2 pm to 7 pm. Space is limited, and early booking is recommended.
