Playing Images at Yale University Art Gallery

The Yale University Art Gallery will present Playing Images on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

This unique program features a performance by the Haven String Quartet, paired with conversation, close looking at artwork, and a question-and-answer session. Playing Images encourages participants to reflect on the connection between music and visual art, offering an experience that blends sound, sight, and dialogue.

Jessica Sack, the Jan and Frederick Mayer Curator of Public Education, will join members of the Haven String Quartet in conversation during the event. Generously sponsored by the Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund, this program highlights the intersection of artistic disciplines in an engaging and inspiring way.
