Pinkalicious: The Musical [Rescheduled] at Maxwell M. and Ruth R. Belding Theater

The delightful tale of Pinkalicious returns to the stage in this vibrant musical based on the beloved book by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann. Perfect for children in grades Pre-K through 2, the story follows a little girl whose love for pink cupcakes gets out of hand. Despite her parents’ warnings, she can’t resist one more treat and ends up at the doctor’s office with a case of “Pinkitis,” turning completely pink from head to toe. This playful and colorful production teaches important lessons about moderation, self-control, and listening to parents — all while keeping kids laughing and engaged.

With a book by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann and music and lyrics by John Gregor, Pinkalicious: The Musical is part of the 2025–2026 Bushnell Children’s Theatre Series. The show runs approximately 55 minutes with no intermission.

The original October 2025 performances have been rescheduled:
• Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1 pm — Mandell JCC, Herbert & Evelyn Gilman Theatre, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. (Tickets will not be sold on-site the day of this performance. Sales end Friday, February 13, at 1 pm.)
• Thursday, March 19, 2026 — school group performances at 10 am and 12 pm at the Maxwell M. and Ruth R. Belding Theater in Hartford.

A Perfectly Pink Post-Show VIP experience will follow the February 14 performance from 2 to 2:30 pm, featuring a group photo with the cast, a stage and props touch-tour, and an exclusive “Perfectly Pink” swag bag. A VIP ticket add-on is required for this special experience.
