Pineapple Carving Class at The Nautical Arts Workshop

Come to the Pineapple Carving Class at The Nautical Arts Workshop in Deep River, Connecticut, and make yourself at home as you carve this symbol of hospitality. In this introductory class you will learn the fundamentals of woodcarving. We will discuss the best woods for carving, grain direction, and how to safely use carving tools. At the end of the day, you will have completed a hand carved pineapple to welcome your friends and family.
